What Causes Bleeding, Cramping And Discharge Of Skin While On Birth Control?
Ive been taking the pill form of birth controll and have been skipping my period a little over two months. A couple of days ago I started spotting and didnt think much of it. But now im actually bleeding and experiencing darker color blood and clots. And there have been a few pieces of thin translucent layers of skin or some sort coming out aswell and im having mild pain and cramping. Im not sexually active and there is no possibility of a pregnancy.. Could this just be a uti? Or something worse?
Dear, UTI will be associated with high frequency of urination and burning sensation while urinating. UTI patients have difficulty in holding up urine in bladder. Considering your symptoms, I do not think this is UTI as it involves urinary system. Now this could be due to your birth control pills. Sometimes hormonal changes while in birth control pills result into missed period as the normal levels of hormones get disturbed and there is absence of menstruation. Since you missed your period, the layer of mucosal lining of your uterus must have been thicker due to no shedding and now you are shedding it so you can see those layer thing with heavy bleeding and cramps! I would still advise you to visit your gynaecologist and proceed for tests if he/she advises you! Take Care!
