What Causes Bleeding After Sex With Partial Hysterectomy?

I had a partial hysterectomy (1ovary) remains in March of this year my first time having sex after it was August of this year I had some bleeding it was like a medium flow for a the first several hours then spotting for about a week it happened again the second time I had sex a week ago is this normal or should I be worried and I m diabetic if this helps but my blood sugar is under control

Hello there, thanks for writing in. In partial hysterectomy the uterus is removed but the neck of the womb is kept intact. Bleeding from cervix following intercourse in your case needs to be evaluated as there could be many reasons for it like sore cervix ( ectropion , cervical erosion both of which may lead to ulcer and bleed), a cervical fibroid polyp or could be due to malignant changes. As i don't have your previous pap smear ( cervical cancer screening report ) and you haven't mentioned your age I can only tell you possible scenarios. I suggest you to make an appointment with your gynaecologist for further evaluation. Hope this helped. Take care.
