What causes bladder dysfunction after a hip fracture?

I had a hip fracture last year.I did physical therapy also.About a few months later I noticed, that my right leg is shorter and I have become with a bladder problem.Never had it before.Can you tell me what happened?. I was 58years @ the time . Can t find a answer very discouraging. thanks

The most common postoperative urinary tract complications after hip surgery are urinary retention, urinary infections and acute kidney injuries.Urinary tract infections are the leading cause of nosocomial infection and affect 12% to 61% of all patients with hip fractures.consult a physician asap.
