What Causes Black String Like Film In Corner Of Eye?

I have diabetes & high blood pressure. Over the last two days I was seeing black string like film in the corner of my left eye. Today it has developed into a large black stringy film that moves all the way across my eye with eye movement .should I be concerned?

its a floater invetrious. since history of hypertension and diabetes examination must be done preferably by indirect ophthalmoscope to look for peripheral part of retina to exclude hole or retinal tear.
