General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The black stool is due to blood loss in the stool from various reasons as hemorrhoids, intestine inflammation, tumor or else.

* Dizziness is from the low level of hemoglobin giving systemic symptoms.

* It is recommended to immediately consult your surgeon for the diagnosis with proctoscopy, lab tests with or without colonoscopy as per the evaluation criteria.

* Immediate intervention is needed to get better soon and avoid future consequences of need of blood transfusions and so forth.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
