What Causes Black Stool After Taking Hydrocodone?
Hi, I was prescribed hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325 for intense pain with my monthly cycles. Earlier today I had a bowel movement (the meds normally make me constipated) and my stool was black. I have had to take 2 to 4 of the pills a day since yesterday. Is everything okay? Will this go away on its own? This is the first time I have ever had an experience like this.

You must immediately get your stool checked for presence of occult blood.
It's presence would indicate that there is bleeding in the stomach due to consumption of HYDROCODONE.Stop taking HYDROCODON immediately and consult your doctor immediately.Bleeding mean ulceration in stomach.
