What Causes Black Stool After An Endoscopic Procedure?

I have had 2 black stools. One last evening & one this morning. On Tuesday I had an endoscopic procedure done on my stomach & a polyp removed. I called my Doctor & have not gotten a call back from him. I get lightheaded & weak. Do I need to go to the ER?

Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

As you had polyp removed, it must have given rises to some bleeding which is causing black stools .But it should not be enough to give weakness or dizziness. You should visit emergency, to get BP checked .If you have any further query then you can come back to HealthcareMagic, I will definitely help you .
