What Causes Black Spots On The Inside Of Nostrils?

I have black spots on the inside of my nostrils at he same locationon both the right and left nostril. It does not hurt and is not sore, but looks like a black smudge from soot or something like that. What could cause this? What should I do about it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to blackheads.
Blackheads occur when pores become clogged.
Each pore on your skin contains a hair follicle and sebaceous gland.
Blackheads on the nose are common and are benign.
They don't require treatment.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
