Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum. The black colour of blood suggests it is old blood. The uterus tries to cleanse itself by shedding away the old blood. In my opinion you need to observe if the next cycles are also irregular and is appearing in the same pattern. Take some pain killers and plenty of fluids. If this recurs in the next cycle please see a doctor. Take care
