I went to an ENT and found out that there's a black color/fluid behind my ear drum, presumably congealed blood. What are the causes of this? I did not have any trauma to that ear and there is no pain, but I do have pulsatile tinnitus now from it. How can I fix this as 2 weeks have gone by with no change in the black color.
I feel there is concealed blood behind ear and not resolving , we should open the tympanic membrane and suction out the blood present . and also u may need a grommet to be placed in ear to drain out fluid that is getting collected . if u don't want this procedure , u can still wait and watch for the clot to resolve and get absorbed . there may be mild trauma that u may not have noticed or infection with granulations( less chances for u because u don't have any hearing complaint or ear discharge )
