What Causes Benign Skin Cysts On The Scalp?
I have several benign skin cysts on my scalp that my physician knows about. One bled a bit after brushing my hair a few days ago, today I picked the scab off and it opened the cyst. Pressing my scalp (not squeezing) caused thin, firm, white colored ribbons to come out of the cyst, as well as a good amount of blood. I have stopped trying to get material out as it is causing bleeding and pain. Should I see my physician about this or would it be alright to go to an urgent care?

This can be a sebaceous cyst on the scalp region as it the most common site for occurrence also during combing your hairs you may get the trauma and it may discharge sometime consult a surgeon and get operated.
