What Causes Bad Stomach Pain And Bloating With IBS?
I m a 48 year old woman I ve suffered with IBS most of my life & bad constapation,I take a medicine calle quietapine which has made my constapation worse,I started to experience bad bloating & stomach pains & as my step mum died of ovarian cancer I insisted on a blood test for it,my ca125 levels were raised to 57 but a transvaginal & ultrasound showed my ovaries were fine however the pains have become excruciating & I ve been throwing up with the pain. My dr did a follow up blood test on the 8th of this month & then saw me last Teusday the 13th & my levels have gone up to 144... He said he s asked the hospital for an urgent CT scan & colonoscopy but I ve heard nothing from the hospital so far. Feeling anxious. Thank you for your help.

Gastritis with IBS with Giaridasis.
Dear,it seems that lately due to street / hotel food,may be or/ stale food, you contracted this infection which caused food poisoning with Giardiasis or ? Bacterial/Viral/parasitic causes could have aggravated this IBS with Bad Stomach pain with severe vomiting with Bloated Stomach in your case.
Simple Stood Test by Concentration method would be able to fix the cause of your IBS with Vomiting.This seems to be not related to your fear of familal ovarian cancer and hence you should come out of this obsession.
As you already have a long and established case of IBS,accompanied infection with Colitis or Diverticulosis could be contribituing to your Ca125 rise in levels.
Ca125-Levels going to 144 lately could be from increased vomiting with flared up congestion and infection after IBS with Giardiasis
