What Causes Bad Odour From Vagina Post Intercourse?

hi ,before i started having sex with my new boyfriend my vagina smelt nice and normal ,even when we were having sex at first it smelt the same way after awhile every time we have sex it smells fishy ,can you explain if his penis is what is causing this because it only smells so when we have sex

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Some odour or discharge from vagina is normal. Problem should be there when you feel very bad or awful smelling discharge along with vaginal itching. Therefore the bad odour from vagina in you should be normal.
Vaginal discharge increases on sexual activity or after sexual activity, therefore you might be noticing this smell after sexual intercourse. Excessive Vaginal discharge can occur due to a Bacterial or yeast infections.
You should also maintain hygeine, wash your vagina 3-4 times a day with warm water.If you have changed your laundry or soap in the recent past, it maybe a reason. Used a pH balanced soap/cleanser for your vagina, this can be easily obtained at your nearby pharmacy store. Doing a sitz bath also may be helpful.

Consult a gynaecologist, If problem persists
