What Causes Back Pain And Tiredness?

HI i am 52 hight 4ft 11in 11stone 11 lb i have had my throyed removed in november 2010 i cant seem to loos waight tired all the time i am on 100 mg per day i dont think it is enought but the doc said my bloods are fine. since i put on waight i have lower back pain and it is going into the top of my legs is there anney thing i can do thank you

Hi,
The pain can be managed with pain medications like Tylenol, Advil initially. But a comprehensive plan would be to lose weight through exercise and strengthening of back muscles. You will need to see a physical therapist initially and avoid lifting heavy weights. If it still hasn't helped I suggest you see a spine specialist and get a MRI done of your back. Depending on the findings appropriate steps can be taken.
