What Causes Back Pain And Frequent Urination While Urine Test Is Negative?

I have lower to mid back pain for over a year now and frequent urination. I have had 4 urine tests done in the last year that show nothing. I am very concerned. My urine is normally clear but I noticed it to be more yellow lately. I urinate every half hour. I am on bladder pills now and have been for a month. They help a little bit.

Urologist 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for query .

Back pain with frequent urination strongly suggests presence of stone either in kidney or ureter and needs to be confirmed by doing Ultrasound Scannig of abdomen.

Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic
tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis.

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
