What Causes Auditory Hallucinations And Severe Anxiety?
My 90 year old mother has suddenly begun to complain that she is hearing voices. She has no cognitive decline and has not shown any memory loss or confusion. She is aware that this is not normal and is very concerned. It is bothering her constantly and causing anxiety.

“As” per your clinical history is concerned her problem is due to nutritional deficit only so to confirm it you can do a blood test for vitamin B complex and tell your doctor to add it in injectable up to one month and then take orally regularly at bed time.
