Asking about my 22yr old dtr in Boston, MA in college, I m in Buffalo,NY 5pm She called me crying, saying she had a extreme headache behind her eyebrows that was Constant pain. She became nauseaus and threw up. She had had some strong coffee at 10am, 2pm, and tea in between. Ate food throughout the day. Has had poor sleep last few nights due to early exams, can t turn her brain off . Also Had some tingling/slight numbness in her right arm/fingers, but no weakness. No weakness in legs, face or slurred speech. ( She had this tingling/numb rt arm sx 2 weeks ago w no HA,but she had fainted in class.) She is in Physical therapy program and knows just enough to increase her anxiety. I told her lack of sleep, and coffee brought on the head ache,then nausea. Her anxiety maybe affecting her arm? All sx s seemed to decrease as we talked and she calmed down. HA seemed to be lessened, and she proceeded to throwup. She felt better then and she wanted to then go take a nap. I Told her to call me when she wokeup. Now 830pm Ideas??? I m concerned about the right arm tingling/numbness x2 events. She did go to ER on the first fainting for was in a medical assessment class. Good place to be. :) ER drew labs, and said arm tingling/numbness not a stroke/aneurysm sx. (she told them she had a concussion skiing 7yrs ago) Hospital dxs: dehydration, malnutrition Thanks, a Mom trying to help 7hrs away.
