What Causes Appetite Loss And Stomach Pain After Diagnosed With Stomach Bug?

I believe I had the stomach bug last week. (Chills, body aches, nausea) Im now over the bug but for the past few days have been experience stomach pain before and after eatting. Sometimes extreme, like my stomach is doing flips! Heating pad seems to ease the pain after awhile. I have no appetite but have been forse feeding myself (yogurt and soup) Any idea if this is normal after effects of a stomach bug? I'm now also juggling anxiety due to wondering if this will ever end! I need my appetite back!

HI.
Your symptoms are suggesting me to think of incomplete treatment. I would advise to have another course of antibiotics, PPI, and supportive medicines as per your Doctor's advise ( as they are prescription medicines). The appetite would return only after the infection is cured.
The cause of loss of appetite and stomach pain due to stomach bug is due to the nature's way so that you do not do more harm to the already diseased and inflamed intestines.
