What Causes Appetite Loss And Fever In A Toddler?

My son will be 3 in November and he s constantly putting his fingers in his mouth towards his gums. Well slowly he has lost his appetite and literally has only ate a cheese biscuit this morning and a few pretzels and he drank some chocolate milk and water but at around 7 tonight I noticed he looked sick and I touched his forehead and knew he had a fever and now at 9:47pm he still has a fever and is moaning in his sleep. What could this be?

it is normal a short of habit disorder can happen at the time of teething and gingivitis. can apply boroglycerine. can give crocin syrup to control fever. monitour temperature and accordingly medication to control it it can be viral fever which is self limiting. deworming with albendazol should be done.get the child examined by paediatrician for finding out any other cause.exclude malaria and uti
