What Causes Anxiety, cold Chills And Panic Attacks?
I had the Mirena put in last week and taken out two days later (last Friday). I then went back to taking Mercilon the day after it was removed. For the last three days I have constant anxiety. Feelings of cold chils going through my skin and panic attacks. What could be causing this?
Hello, Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query. I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through. Panic attacks are one of the frequent complications of hormonal drugs like Mirena. The best way to stop them is to discontinue the drugs and switch them with other drugs. However if this option is not possible then the panic attacks may be taken care of with low doses of propranolol or clonazepam. Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you. In future if you wish to contact me directly, you can use the below mentioned link: bit.ly/dr-srikanth-reddy
