Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello thanks for asking from HCM

She is 65 years old and have anxiety. Eating of fruits or food or taking milk due to anxiety could be a compulsive feature. This thing is frequent and this may result in development of some medical issue. Excess sugar or glucose could increase risk of heart ailments or diabetes. I would advise you to consult a psychiatrist for her help. With age her symptoms may progress and may lead to development of serious anxiety. Medicines like Sertraline can be used for her anxiety. The medicine is safe to use in elderly and will help her in reduction of anxiety.

Consult a psychiatrist for prescription of drugs.

Thanks, hope this helps you.
