What Causes Anxiety Attacks After Using Azurette Birth Control Pills?

I started taking azurette birth control in January of 2015 and stopped taking it February 2015 because it was giving me anxiety attacks. I then had unprotected intercourse March 4th and March 13th could I be pregnant or how long will it take to get pregnant?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Azurette birth control pills contains 2 hormones: ethinyl estradiol and desogestrel , which is a combined hormone medication is used to prevent pregnancy.
Psychiatric side effects by use of this drug include depression and precipitation of panic attacks, which you might have experienced and then discontinued its use.
Once you stop taking these birth control pills, your fertility should be regained immediately, but sometimes might take anytime from a month to three months.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
