What Causes Anxiety And Tingling Sensation In The Arms And Legs?
I went to er last night because I almost lost consciousness followed by weaknessand tingling in arms and legsand blood work showed potassium level at 3.0. I was given a large potassium pill and told my symptoms were from anxiety. I believe they were from hypo kalmia how long will it take me to feel better and what should I be doing to get better. Also had low sodium level
I went through your details. Hypokalemia also hypopotassemia or hypopotassaemia, refers to the condition in which the concentration of potassium in the blood is low. the most obvious cause is insufficient consumption of potassium (that is, a low-potassium diet) or starvation.
In your case, your case is mild Hypokalemia and can be treated with potassium rich diet and supplements. Your doctors will advise you accordingly. for the time being do not worry. You are alright.
