Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are related to Diltiazem withdrawal syndrome. I would not recommend stopping it cold turkey. Anyway, I would recommend taking a low dose of beta-blocker considering your symptoms.

It is also important for checking your thyroid hormone levels for possible thyroid gland dysfunction.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
