What Causes Anxiety And Elevated Blood Pressure Levels?

this week, I started having anxiety but I am not sure what the cause is. I have high blood pressure and notice that when it started I felt like I wasn t getting enough breathe Sunday. I went to the ER in which my heart check out fine, but the blood pressure was high 162 over 94. They did give me something for anxiety which worked. My question is can high blood pressure lead to nervous/anxiety. I did see the dr and he prescription Lorazepam but I still feel unconfortable when I don t use it. I think its my blood pressure which has been in the 145 over 94 when I am not felting anxiety. an little thing makes my heart rate up.
