What Causes Ankles Joint Skin Tightness With Numbness And Pain?

The skin feels like its tight and numb sometimes in the joints on my ankles and pain down in the in side. Sometimes to the point I can t hardly walk. On top of my left foot I stand up to walk sometimes the bones or something hurts like something is out of place or something, takes a while before I can put pressure on it to walk. Had the right ankle exrayed about a month ago, was told I must have pulled a ligament or something. Now both ankles are messing up and I don t know what s wrong. I am over weight but I ve lost 28lbs in the last 2 months. Should I find a specialist to check my ankles? Regular doctor sent me back to work after 2 days.
