What Causes Anal Bleeding?

Sir or Ma m, I went to the bathroom today and when I was finished there was nothing on the paper but dark red blood. A couple hours later I felt like i had to go again and this time there was nothing but liquid flatulents. Again when I was done there was nothing on the paper but dark red blood. I didn t strain either time and I haven t been constipated. Should I be concered? I figure this could either be hemmeroids or Colon cancer. Can you help?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to colitis or bacillary or amoebic dysentery or internal hemorrhoids.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Use high fibre diet, use pilex cream locally.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu,
