Hi,

Bleeding along with stools may be due to hemorrhoid or fissure or fistulas. Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is.

Avoid spicy food, alcohol, smoking and caffeine drinks. Use high fiber diet and do regular exercise, yoga, and meditation. Use metamucil or benefiber for bulk formation of stools.

If symptoms do not improve, please consult your doctor who will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
