What Causes An Itchy Bump On The Thumb?
I have an uncomfortable itchy growth on my bone at the end of my thumb and beginning of my wrist. It is constantly itching and I experience some pain. I was just wondering what it could possibly be. Is it something that I need to give it time or should I follow up with my doctor right away?

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to gout attack. If you send a picture of your thumb it will be more helpful. Is there any redness? Checking uric acid level in blood will be helpful to rule out this. Taking NSAIDs like ibuprofen 400mg thrice daily along with esomeprazole and cetirizine one time will be helpful in such case.
