What Causes An Enlarged Heart?
My son was born with a vsd that was repaired, then we found out that his aorta valve has a leak and is Malformed. We found that when he was 4 he is now 19 and had a chest xray because one lung didn t have the sound expected the xray shoes possible enlarging heart. What should I look out for if something is wrong

Congenital heart diseases including valvular heart disease can cause enlarged heart( cardiomyopathy). Consult a cardiologist and get evaluated. If the pumping action is fine nothing much to worry and no treatment is needed.
