What Causes An Aneurysm In Fetus?
I am 33 years old and 38 weeks pregnant with my 4th child, I had an ultrasound this morning and they detected an enlarged vein between his liver and bladder. Doctor said it may be an aneurism. I am going back Monday to have her check it again, she said if it is still there, she will refer me to specialist. Now that I am home, I am wondering if it is a good idea to wait til Monday. also what causes an aneurism in fetus ? How will they repair or treat this and should I go ahead and be induced to get treatment started, he weighs at least 7 lbs now and is very plump, even fatrolls on his ankles.

Hello, it is an anomalous development which is common but idiopathic so only treatment is removal or laser ablation depending on site involved
