What Causes Amenorrhea Post A Bilateral Oophorectomy?

Hello, I am a 50 year old woman who has had a bilateral oopherectomy (2009) and have not had menses since my operation. For the past three days I have been experiencing very tender breast, localized to the nipples as though I was having a period. This seems very unusual to me and wonder if I should be concerned?

Hi I think you will not have your periods as your ovaries have been removed and you are having surgical menopause. So, don't worry about it if you don't get periods. Tender breasts can be menopausal symptoms also. Consult your doctor for proper examination. Hope it helps.
