General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

The presence of cold chills and headache imply that you may have an infection present. Viral infections are most common. In most persons symptoms resolve within 1 to 2 weeks but they can be some severe viral illnesses. Since it is not clear what is causing your symptoms, it would be best to be seen. I hope this helps.

Hope this clarifies your concerns. Thank you for the query.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
