What Causes Allergic Soreness And Burning In The Perineum Area After Menstruation?

I am 46 years old, I´m 1,73m tall and I weigh 59kg. I don´t know if you can help me?? I think I may be allergic to sanitary pads or to the washing powder I use. After my periods, I often get a rash in my perineum area, it is very sore and it burns when I go to the toilet. I´ve been fine for about 3 months (Summer) I think it´s because most of the time I didn´t wear underwear (just shorts or trousers) or I wore a bikini and I used tampons and didn´t use many pads when I had my period during those 3 months, BUT now I have the rash again, a few days after my period. The rash is in my perineum area, near the rectum, it´s localized - it´s always in the same place. I´m desperate!! ... I´ve been tested for herpes, candida, etc and everything was negative, I´ve tried gino canesten, a dermotologist gave a corticoid cream, but it didn´t work, I don´t know what to do? no doctor seems to be able to help me? I know I´m 46 and my estrogen levels may be changing, but I´ve had this since my thirties, I don´t know what to think. Is there anything I could try, steroid creams?? Thank you very much for your help.

Hello
yes, this sounds like an allergy.
Steroid creams may help you.
If nothing works, a biopsy of the local area might help.
Take care.
