Hello,
Belosix is used to treat gout but having an elevated uric acid level of 7.4 does not mean that you have gout. If the medicine is not working you may have some other form of arthritis going on. Gout is diagnosed by removing fluid from a joint with a needle and looking at it under a special microscope. You need the correct diagnosis to get the best treatment.
