What Causes Acute Dry Cough?
it feels like im dying, im coughing air, nothing coming up, its a tickle in my throat.. i tried lemon and honey tea, strepsils , eating.. but it's kept me up all night.. it's 6:30am and I havnt slept because of this cough, it wont go away.. i cough so hard it feels like im going to throw up because im coughing nothing..

If sputum not coming means it may be a viral pharyngitis with bronchitis or Irritable cough. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Also, use decongestant syrups or codeine syrup for cough.
If symptoms not improved, then please consult your doctor so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.
