What Causes Acute Abdominal Pain?

A week ago I started to have foul smelling urine, and the frequency and volume were also greater than usual. I increased my fluid intake thinking that that would improve the situation, but the next thing that occurd was acute abdominal pain on the left front side. I at first thought it might be kidney stones, as I have had that problem in the past, but now I feel as if my small intaestines are somehow blocked.

Hello
I appreciate your concern
Looking at your history it could be any of following
UTI complicated by kidney stone
Diabetic ketoacidosis

I would like to know about your age and medical history
your symptoms are suggestive of diabetic ketoacidosis if you are diabetic
please make a visit to your GP immediately for testing of blood sugar and urine for ketone bodies

if you are not diabetic than it could be UTI with kidney stone
in such a case get urine test for culture and sensitivity test and an ultrasound
have plenty of fluids

hope this addresses your question
wishing you good health
