What Causes Acne Like Bumps With Pus Discharge On Scrotum?

Hey im 25 and i have been getting these pimple like things on my scrotum when i pop one a bit of yellowish pus came followed by blood then the skin on the sight becomes absent looking raw... Can u please give me an idea of what this could be? Thanks for your time.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne like bumps with pus discharge on scrotum which occurs when there is bacterial infection of hair follicles and when clogged pores of sebaceous gland filled with sebum ,dead skin and bacteria get infected. Need not to worry. Do not scratch pimples as they will get infected , leave acne marks. you should maintain environment dry and clean. Till now apply aloe vera gel and apply azelaic acid containing cream twice a day as this is safe and natural extract of cereals. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist once and get it examined. you an go for antibiotics ( clindamycin ) , corticosteroid ointment , hydroquinone , laser therapy for scars only after doctors prescription.
