What Causes Absence Of Periods At 41 Years?

Hi[a quick question...I haven t had a menstrual cycle since January 16! I m 41 years old. I m thinking it could be possible signs of my body changing maybe permenopausal. doctors tell me (as of a year or so ago) that my hormone levels are normal so they don t believe that s it. Not sure what else it could be

Delay in periods can be due to stress, overweight or low body weight, Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) or Thyroid problems etc. As per your age, it could be a sign of peri menopause also.

I advice you to 
1. Check I've hemoglobin levels
2. Thyroid function test.
3. Do YOGA & stress management
4. Nutritious diet rich in protein & iron
5. Exercise.
6. Watch for the next cycle & do a USG pelvis to rule out any serious causes. Consult a gynaecologist for further assistance if any.
