What Causes Absence Of Heartbeats In The Fetus During Pregnancy?

Hello Dr. Iam 23 yrs old first pregnancy it was 5 weeks and went for scan the doctor reported there was no heartbeat in foetus and registered a missed abortion, after one year, i conceived and again at 8 weeks when i went for the scan, there was no cardiac activity in the foetus. what could be the problem?

I am sorry to learn about the two subsequent abortions. No worries, let your body system recover, give it time and get all your illness if any treated, get your husbands semen analysis be done before you plan for the next baby. Stay out of addictions if any, maintain healthy lifestyle & happy living. The cause of abortions can be ovo-fetal factor(defect in the ovum or fetus, malformations), maternal factor (rubella, toxoplasmosis, chronic disease), trauma( direct trauma to the abdominal wall,emotional upsets), Paternal factor(defective sperm).
