What Causes Abnormal Vaginal Discharge And Bleeding?

Hi, I'm 43yr white female with abnormal vaginal bleeding/discharge. It is rust colored and smells like blood. I had an uterine ablation about 12 years ago. I have not had any problems until recently it has been frequently happening and it always looks like old blood. I had a check up by my female doctor and pap was normal but a few fibroids. I also have psoriatic arthritis and was on REMICAID for several years. I'm no longer on the removable because I have a weak immune system.......I have a very complicated medical history......just need some help....

Hi,

I think your problems with discharge come from fibroids. Your doctor will evaluate the situation, taking count of dimensions of them and the discomfort you have but since you are near menopause one possibility is to just leave them. During menopause they tend to shrink.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
