Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Presence of balanced translocation in parent has almost 50% chance of unbalanced translocation in the fetus. Fetus with unbalanced translocation abort or have abnormal growth or mental retardation.
Ineach pregnancy, fetal karyotype should be done to assess the chromosomal analysis.
Ovum donation rule out the possibility of this transmitted translocation in the fetus, hence you can go for it.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
