hi my father in law have some problem,he met an accident in 2005, he had head injury,some fluid formation occur,the neuro dr drill thehead portion and suck the fluid,after that he is normal,but behave like a child.he is now in age 70, now the problem is he is crude mood,always talk very angry,eat a lot of food without gap,he try to beet some workers in my house.they are afraid. before me and his son he looks very calm,behind his son he is doing like this,and then he did't have a bath&shave for a month,please tell me what is the problm

Hi, thanks for asking from HCM.

Your father in law is most probably having diffuse cerebral atrophy. In cerebral atrophy, brain shrinks in size due to age related degeneration, insult due to head injury. Because of it, frontal and temporal lobes function become below average. These two lobes of brain are related with normal behaviour, personality.
Less likely it can be due to Alzheimer disease.
You should consult neurologist to confirm the cause.
