General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I understand and appreciate your question.

Brief Answer: You may be agitated or irritated from Amitriptyline. If you do, you may develop confusion, and high blood pressure.
Detailed Answer:
Keeping your blood pressure and blood sugar in a normal range depends on healthy thyroid function.
Synthroid is used for hormone replacement therapy in the treatment of hypothyroidism in total thyroidectomy, usually for a lifetime. Synthroid therapy causes only a small decrease in blood pressure.
Blood pressure problems can be symptoms of thyroid hormone issues, so be sure to get your thyroid hormones checked.
If you really feel irritated or agitated, it is better to see a doctor and check Amytriptyline dose.
The sugar level is in normal value.
