What Causes Abdominl Pain With Rectal Bleeding?

I have been bleeding from the rectum for several weeks now. It can be in my stool or just in the toilet after I have been. Also when I wipe the area blood is left on the tissue. I sometimes have slight abdominal pains where It cripples me in two the pains doesn t last long though. Could this be piles or worse ?!

Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your symptoms could be due to inflammatory bowel disease, polyp, piles and proctitis.
I would suggest to consult the gastroenterologist and undergo rectal examiantion, routine blood tests, fecal calprotectin, stool tests, sigmoidoscopy/colonoscopy if needed.
Specific treatment will depend on the cause.
Meanwhile avoid stress, take healthy diet like banana, rice, applesauce, toast, butter milk, yogurt
Drink plenty of warm water and maintain hygiene.
Better to go for consultation as early as possible with out delay
Once problem was diagnosed it will be treated better
Hope this may help you

Best regards
Dr. Sagar
