Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Last night I felt a pain in the middle of my stomach. It felt like pulling from front to back, twisting harder pain getting worse. I lasted strongly for about 2 hours. Then dull pain today, hiccups and constant burping with pain in my esophageal area!
You situation (if it is not related to alcohol consumption or excess use of cigarettes), may be connected then to what it is called gastroesophageal reflux. This happens very often at night, after abduntant meals. Usually, if it is not repeated, it is nothing to worry. If it repeats very often, then you have to consider talking Omeprazol and Malox (bicarbonate salts) after you check the situation with a gastroenterologists in your locals.
Please consider a healthy diet with fruits, vegetables and a lot of water.
I wish you fast relief, Best Regards, Dr. Eni Manoku
