What Causes Abdominal Pain Post Medical Abortion?

i am pregnent for 26 days.but i dont want baby.for this i destroy the baby and take madichine. as a result bleeding occures.then after 15 days i take ciprocin 500mg with normens and bleeding stop and pain starts in the baly. in this moment what should i do?

Hi dear, I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

First of all do not panic.

I am sure that you must have terminated your pregnancy under proper medical supervision.
Usually, WHO recommended dosages are as follows- Tab Mifepristone 200 mg followed by Tablet Misoprostol 600 mcg orally or sublingual or per vaginal route after 48 hours.
This ensures complete termination of pregnancy in almost all the cases.

If you continue to have bleeding even after 7 days and having pain and fever , there can be element of infection and in that case please seek prescription support from your treating doctor for a broad spectrum antibiotic like Doxycycline 100 mg twice a day for 5 to 7 days. Also, if bleeding is persistent the USG will be of help to look for the completeness of the abortion and if any products of conception are left behind.
In such case, repeat dose of tablet Misoprostol might be required.
