It is a sign of urinary tract infection. You need urine culture followed by antibiotic sensitivity testing. You may consult a physician or urologist as per availability in your area.

Increase fluid intake and tab Drotaverine till the time you visit a doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Last night I had a sever pain in my right abdomen right around my navel. I couldn t sit or stand there was no comfortable position to be in. The pain would be constant and unbearable for about 30 minutes and then it would get less intense. I could still tell there was pain there but I could walk and talk. At times I felt feverish, but never took my temperature. I experienced chills and sweating. I never vomited but sat over the toilet feeling like I was going to. The pain lasted for about 7 hours like this. When the pain wasn t unbearable I would fall asleep only to be woke back up 30 minutes to and hour later in tremendous pain. This also happened about a week ago, the pain was just as bad but it only lasted for an hour or two. Any idea what could be causing this?

Hello. I have occasionally had sharp pains in my lower left abdominal region, however, as of yesterday, the pain has been nonstop for about 14 to 15 hours. I already have hydrocodone for cervical neck injury and I even took 2 and the pain still wouldn t go away. I am also experiencing frequent urination. The pain occurs even when I am at rest without movement. It hurts to cough and I feel pain when pushing out urine. It doesn t hurt to urine but the pushing out of the urine causes pain in that area. I have had cyst on the ovaries but that was years ago and I found out that I do have a phlebolith (however you spell it) in that area. I wasn t sure if I should go to the ER or not. Please advise.
