What Causes Abdominal Pain And Yellow Bile Vomiting Post Intake Of Cough Medication?

I took some cough medicine this morning and my stomach is a battlefield right now. Others say to have a full meal before taking it but even then it is still very painful. Also this morning I vomited yellow bile (I searched it up and Google said it would most likely be yellow bile) and it says I m dehydrated but I drink water 24/7. What s going on? What should I do?

Hi and welcome to HCM.
I'm Dr. Taimur and I will be addressing your health concerns.
I have read your question and understand your concern.

Mostly cough medications do not cause vomiting but the reason you are may be you are allergic to some contents of the medicines or you are vomiting due to some other problem and you feel that you are having this problem because of this.
In my patients I will change the cough syrup and would like to add some antiemetic like Tab . motilium 1 tablet three times a day 30 mins before meals.
And the last thing is the colour of bile is greenish. The yellow fluids you are vomiting is the gastric juices which is very much normal in vomitus, so no need to worry about that.
