What Causes Abdominal Pain And Cramps?

Hi, I was meant to have my period a week and a half ago and have been experiencing unbearable cramps since Tuesday. Now they ve started hurting in the left side and it s painful to touch. I thought I could be pregnant so did two tests yesterday, but both were negative.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I think if your pregnancy test is negative, you are not pregnant. It can be due to some vaginal infection or may be ovarian cyst. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist. Also, get a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries. You can take some medicines like Meprate or Deviry for inducing periods.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Khushboo Priya
